Fast Texture Meter
FTM
The ASTM E1845 compliant texture meter is a ground truth device for measuring texture profile as well as MSD, MPD, and RMS parameters.
Fast Texture Measurement
The Fast Texture Meter (FTM) is ICC’s newest reference device and sets a new standard in texture measurement. The FTM records a high resolution texture profile with a vertical resolution well into the microtexture range and computes MSD, MPD, and RMS values precisely in accordance with the ASTM E1845 standard. Use this device to:
- Meet FWHA calibration site requirements
- Measure ground truth values on control sites
- Compare high speed equipment to ground truth
- Validate network level collection accuracy
